Kat is a veterinary professional whose career began as a zoological veterinary technician, building on a strong foundation in animal husbandry and exotic species care. They later specialized in surgical nursing and expanded into emergency medicine, bringing skilled, compassionate care to both routine and critical cases.
Their love of animals started young, when they volunteered at Popcorn Park Zoo, and by 2005, Kat was actively working in animal rescue, focusing on fostering, trap-neuter-return (TNR), and adoption center support. They have a special passion for caring for special needs cats, fluffy dogs, and exotic animals, many of whom are part of their own animal family at home.
