Dr. Karen Forbes

Dr. Karen Forbes grew up in central New Jersey. She pursued higher education at University of Delaware, graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in pre-veterinary medicine and animal bioscience. Dr. Forbes attended veterinary school at Ross University located in Saint Kitts and Nevis. She completed her final year of clinical training at Cornell University. During her time at Ross University, she volunteered as a research assistant in the study of vector-borne diseases and was a teacher’s assistant for pathology courses.

Dr. Forbes’ favorite part of veterinary medicine is not only helping the animals but building relationships with her clients and their pets for a lifetime. During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. She also likes spending time outdoors, walking and hiking with her dog, Shylah. Her hobbies include yoga, indoor cycling, and cooking.
